Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards separate as he's sent away from Little Mix's tour

One Direction's Zayn Malik, 20, and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, 19, are no longer a couple, and now he's reportedly been banished from Little Mix's tour, according to an article published by the Daily Mirror on January 30, 2013.

Malik and Edwards reportedly had a very unhappy meeting in Nottingham, England, where he went to try to patch things up with her after 21-year-old Australian waitress Courtney "CJ" Webb gave a detailed tabloid interview saying that she had sex with Malik at his London home while Edwards was away. Little Mix had been in Nottingham for a concert on January 28, as part of Little Mix's 2013 U.K. tour, which began on January 24. The Daily Mirror is now reporting that after Edwards and Malik met up in Nottingham, she sent him away, he was not invited to Little Mix's concert in Nottingham, and he's not welcome on the rest of Little Mix's tour.

Edwards and Malik met in late 2011, and they went public with their romance in April 2012. Both are former "X Factor" U.K. contestants.

One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010. Little Mix was the winner of "The X Factor" U.K. in 2011.

Before the cheating scandal, Malik and Edwards would often say in interviews that they were in love and very happy with each other. But after the cheating scandal, Edwards and Malik have not publicly commented on the status of their relationship. However, it's only a matter of time before one or both of them will make an official statement, since it's a topic that neither of them can avoid as long as they're in the media spotlight.

Unnamed sources are telling the tabloid media that Edwards' close friends and family members advised her to dump Malik.

According to an exclusive interview that Webb gave to The Sun (which published the interview on January 27, 2013), Webb and Malik had sex at his London home on January 23, 2013. Webb had met Malik that night through their mutual friend Leon "Starino" Anderson, who invited Webb and a few other people to a small party at Malik's house. It was during this house party that Webb claims that Malik made sexual advances on her, and that at first he lied to her when he told her that he didn't have a girlfriend.

Webb says that she didn't find out about Malik having a girlfriend until after she and Malik had sex, and Webb saw some of Edwards' belongings in Malik's home, where Webb had spent the night. According to Webb, Malik then admitted that he had a girlfriend, whom he said was "on tour." Webb took photos of Malik asleep in bed as proof of their one-night stand. The photos were published by The Sun and are all over the Internet.

In her interview with The Sun, Webb also went into details in describing Malik's home and how he allegedly seduced her. She described him as very charming before they had sex, but after they had sex,Webb said that Malik treated her in a very cold and dismissive manner.

Before Little Mix's Nottingham concert, Edwards reportedly said in response to an inquiry about how she's been feeling: "I'm totally fine."

But things apparently aren't "totally fine" between Malik and Edwards. Malik's absence from Little Mix's concert in Nottingham indicates that he and Edwards are either going through a trial separation or have broken up permanently.

An unnamed insider told the Daily Mirror about Edwards and Malik's meeting in Nottingham: “They spent time together but Zayn didn’t come along to the show. As far as everyone is concerned he’s currently off-limits.”

Many fans of One Direction and Little Mix have gone on the Internet to express anger, sadness and disappointment about this cheating scandal. Some of these fans refuse to believe that Malik cheated, while others believe he cheated but are blaming Webb for going to a tabloid with the story.

Webb told The Sun that she has gotten numerous death threats and other harassment, but she stands by her decision to go public about Malik's alleged infidelity. In an article published by The Sun on January 30, 2013, Webb talked about getting hundreds of threatening messages from around the world after Anderson posted her phone number on Twitter with these accompanying words: "Ppl shouldn't tel lies ... CJ." The message has since been deleted.

Webb said: “I was expecting some abuse but it has got out of control. I’ve had hundreds of calls from all over the world. One American girl left me six voicemails in an hour saying she was going to kill me. It’s really scary. Leon’s a nasty piece of work. It was Zayn who cheated, not me, and Leon let it happen.”

In response, Anderson told The Sun: “Courtney was a friend who tried to cause an issue with another friend.”

Even though Webb has many people criticizing her, she does have some people defending her on the Internet, because they think Malik cheated and he should get most of the blame. Webb and many of her defenders believe that Webb's one-night stand with Malik probably wasn't the first time that Malik has been unfaithful to Edwards.

Regardless of how true or false Webb's story is, Malik and Edwards won't be spending much time together in 2013, since One Direction launches its 2013 world tour on February 22 in London. The tour is scheduled for about eight months and is going to Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

One Direction and Little Mix are both signed to the same record company (Syco Music, the record company co-owned by Simon Cowell and Sony Music) and represented by Modest! Management.

Before the cheating scandal, insiders said that Little Mix was a frontrunner to be the opening act on the North American leg of One Direction's 2013 tour. But now that there is a huge rift and probable breakup between Malik and Edwards, it's very unlikely that Little Mix and One Direction will go on tour together.

February 2, 2013 update: Malik and the rest of One Direction did an interview with The Sun after the scandal, and Malik said in the interview that his relationship with Edwards is "just fine." And while on a break from the Little Mix tour, Edwards spent the night with Malik at his London home on February 1, 2013. Click here for more details.
