Zara Phillips bundled up for Cheltenham Ladies' Day on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Prestbury Park as temperatures dipped to freezing levels according to the Mirror.
Zara always wears the most amazing coats and hats and she did not disappoint us this time. Her fashion choice was a stunning cherry red double-breasted military- inspired coat with gold accent buttons by designer Paul Costelloe. The coat was shown on the runway last month during London Fashion Week and it is from the designer's Autumn/Winter 'Dressage' collection. The vibrant style was toned just a bit with the addition of black gloves, knee-high boots and a simple matching clutch.
The highlight of her ensemble was a feminine black pillbox hat that featured a swirling peacock feather.
Zara was spotted walking with her mother Princess Anne and posing for the cameras with friends.
Ladies' Day is all about fashion and prizes are given out for 'The Best Dressed Lady', 'The Lady with the Best Hat' and 'The Lady with the Best Accessories.' The women attending wore some amazing millinery which included creations in fur, feathers and felt. Looks went from simple and classic to totally over-the-top but that is what we have come to expect at these type of racing events.
Zara went a bit on the conservative side with a just a touch of whimsy with her hat creation. She looked just fabulous!
