Zak Bagans and Ghost Adventures (Photos)

You have watched the Travel Channel's, Ghost Adventures (G.A.), starring founder and producer Zak Bagans, cameraman Aaron Goodwin and fellow investigator and sometimes-cameraman, Nick Groff. It is an excellent show and it is changing the way that viewers are dealt ghost hunting data. G.A. is changing the way that this type of information and data is dispersed, viewed and received as the spirit-chasing crew itself is one of the most passionate, engaging, sometimes funny and usually interesting.

The Ghost Adventures crew is always seeking to employ the newest in electronic gadgets for the purpose of securing electronic voice phenomenon (e.v.p.), via sound files. As well, the quality of the show gets better and more engaging as it progresses and evolves. G.A. is distinct amongst ghost-shows for these very reasons.

At the helm of the Ghost Adventures crew is a physically stout Zak Bagans and viewers are somewhat educated as to why Bagans does the show and how he became interested in documenting spiritual activity. He claims in the show's introduction that he had seen a ghost at a point in his life when he did not believe that ghost's even existed. It changed him. He could not ignore the experience. In his mind, he had to do something about the experience and with that information.

Bagans explains that the ghost was ...taunting (him)... The obnoxious, female spirit was someone who had quite possibly committed suicide in Trenton, Michigan. Shortly thereafter, Bagans moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, met up with similarly-experienced Nick Groff, hired professional camera operator Aaron Goodwin and Ghost Adventures was born.

G. A. was only the beginning for Bagans. He has;

Penned a book with Kelly Crigger in 2011, entitled Dark World: Into the Shadows with the Lead Investigator of the Ghost Adventures Crew,

Been involved in a couple of serious music projects,

Created a line of clothing called DungeonWear,

Hosted and produced Paranormal Challenge, and will continue with the magic that is Ghost Adventures.

Both fans and opponents alike have a lot to say about Zak Bagans and the way that he runs the show. Fans love the enthusiasm, the passion and the good looks. Opponents dislike the amount of running away and other displays of fear, frequent electronic blips, due to foul language and the constant, “Dude…” Regardless, media attention is media attention and where there is a Zak Bagans involved, others will be watching and commenting.

Whether you like Zak Bagans, or whether you do not, you are compulsed to watch. Ghost Adventures is an excellent show. Zak Bagans is the perfect host for such a show.
