Zack Ryder suffers a broken back and out indefinitely, Possible Torres heel turn

Former WWE superstar Zack Ryder was brutally beaten by Kane on the Monday edition of RAW. According to a Monday January 23rd report by WWE.com, Ryder suffered a broken back after being choke slammed through the stage. Ryder is out indefinitely as the WWE has placed no timetable on his return.

The WWE's motives for removing Ryder from TV with this "broken back" storyline is highly questionable. Ryder became one of the hottest stars in 2011 as he climbed the ladder via his overwhelming population with the fans and some support from John Cena and CM Punk. Ryder was reportedly demoted last month due to the poor ratings RAW received for their main event of RAW on December 19th. Ryder was a part of the main event and he took the brunt of the blame.

Ryder's future with the WWE has to be a concern for his fans. Taking someone, who was on a rocket to the top, and removing him from TV for an undetermined length of time is not a vote of confidence in my book.

Ryder's on-air Diva girlfriend Eve Torres blamed John Cena for Ryder's injury. FW4Online.com is reporting that the WWE is considering a heel turn for Torres. This could be the first steps in that storyline.
