Movie fans in Scottsdale only have one day to the release of New Year's Eve, and the stars have been busy promoting the release this week. On Wednesday, Socialite Life shared the latest comments made by Zac Efron, one of the stars of the film, when he made an appearance with co-star Michelle Pfieffer. In New Year's Eve, Efron and Pfieffer's characters are tied together. Pfeiffer's character enlists the aid of Efron's to help her fulfill all of her resolutions. If he is successful, she will give him tickets to the biggest New Year's Eve bash in the city. Efron said the following about his decision to take on the film and working with Pfieffer, according to Socialite Life:
"Michelle Pfeiffer left a voicemail on my phone and said, 'I want to do it, if you want to do it.' My heart exploded, and I was like, 'I'm in! I'm doing it!’ I love her. She made my year."
While out promoting, Efron also talked about the series of another one of New Year's Eve co-stars, Lea Michele. She stars on Glee, which airs on Channel 10 in Scottsdale. He said the following about that series:
"I'm a huge fan of 'Glee' and a huge fan of her work. It looks so fun. I would love to [appear on the show.] Have they had a serial killer yet?"
Fans are buzzing about the release of this film and its stars on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
Dear Santa, when I wake up on Christmas morning, I wanna see Zac Efron under my tree. kthanks.
New Year's Eve will be released to Scottsdale theaters on Friday.
