Zac Efron’s new film, “The Paperboy” is sure to surprise some of his fans. Recently, Zac opened up about one shocking scene with Nicole Kidman, Fans Share reported on Mar. 9.
According to the report, Efron is doing all he can to move away from his “High School Musical” and Disney days. The actor has been choosing more adult roles, that feature him in more adult situations.
In his new movie, “The Paperboy,” Zac Efron stars opposite veteran actress, Nicole Kidman, and was forced to get up close and personal with her in many scenes.
One scene in particular, has Zac says was hard for him to film. In the scene, Nicole Kidman’s character urinates on him. "I tell you what, I'd never seen her in that sort of light. That was the moment (Precious director) Lee really raised the bar for all of us and I realised there was a special opportunity here to have the courage to be like Nicole. I wanted to be as fearless as she was and go for it. That day really set the tone for the movie,” Efron said.
"I knew it was weird. I had the utmost respect for Nicole, a kind of adoration. I think she's one of the greatest actresses. I guess there was some trepidation on my behalf because I didn't know what to expect but in minutes I found she was open and collaborative and fun to be around. She took me under her wing, I felt to a degree. She did that to everyone. She elevated us all to do good work andto be fearless like her. She works hard and is always pushing herself. It's not an accident she's done so well,” Zac Efron added.
“The Paperboy” also stars Matthew McConaughey, John Cusack, and Macy Gray.
