Yxta Cocina Mexicana – Tequila Tasting Event Tuesday January 10, 2012

Tequila and Mexican food lovers can delight in a four-course meal and tequila tasting event at Yxta Cocina Mexicana this Tuesday January 10, 2012.

The event, sponsored by Tequila Ocho features an incredible menu designed specifically for this special night.  Yxta has some of the best gourmet Mexican food in Los Angeles, and this event is sure to be a memorable night for those who love Mexican food and of course, the traditional Mexican liquor, tequila.

Event Menu

First course

Choice of Crema de Jaiba (Cream of Crab Soup) or a

Romaine Salad with Cherry Tomatoes, Avocado, Telera Croutons with a Pepita Caesar Dressing.

Second course

Plantain Empanada Stuffed with Pork Picadillo Topped with a Black Bean Salsa or a Tamal de Puerco en Chile Colorado.

Third course

(choice of one)
Filet Mignon with a Chipotle-Peppercorn Sauce, Rajas Mashed Potatoes, Baby Green Beans
