Producing meals, which are less than 300 calories that still hold an enjoyable flavor, is not an easy task. Especially if you are a busy mother; it is too easy to heat up some spaghettio’s. Experimenting to create some yummy low-cal foods can be fun and who knows what you may come up with. But what is more important is that you are not hungry an hour after eating. Make sure to add some good proteins and god carbs in order to make it a fulfilling meal. Here is a great one that will make you say "oh my that is good".
Whole wheat Tortillas (they are fat free and perfect for mommy’s and others watching their waistline)
- Lean Ground Beef (93/7 if available)
- Shreaded cheese (made with 2% milk)
- Picante Sauce. (Always good for you)
Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain all excess juices. Then the rest should be self-explanatory. You can also place al of the ingredients on the tortilla and then place it in the oven for a scrumptious Mexican pizza (minus the lettuce of course).
Eating healthy isn't that hard after all.
