This week Yves Saint Laurent is set to launch their new Facebook inspired eyeshadow collection. The palette will consist of four colors including blue, white, black, and violet with the branded YSL logo on the palette. There will only be 1650 eyeshadow palettes available for purchase to Facebook fans who like the Yves Saint Laurent Fragrances and Beauty page. The social media inspired quadrant goes on sale July 19 exclusively to fans through the Facebook page.
YSL fans can expect to see some changes in the company with the new creative director Hedi Slimane. Hedi Slimane's goal is to target a new audience. Hedi Slimane hopes to achieve this by re-branding the company. With the support of YSL co-founder Pierre Berge the 2013 spring ready to wear collection will be called Saint Laurent Paris but still keep the familiar YSL logo. The name change will only affect the ready to wear line and not beauty and fragrance.
