Ypsilanti pastor revived after heart stops

Washtenaw County Pastor Jerry Allen Jackson appeared to be dead after passing out while preaching this Sunday according to WXYZ News reported, January 23, 2014.

While Jackson was preaching, “God Will Give You More Time,” he suddenly slumped over and passed out. Several nurses came to his aide and said there was no pulse or heartbeat.

The Abundant Life Ministries in Ypsilanti church family began to pray and reach out to other churches as CPR was administered to him. Then a miracle, yes, a miracle; Pastor Jackson was revived.

"Then I sat up and then I asked for the mic. 'Amen, and I told them 'praise God… I told you God will give you more time," said Pastor Jerry.

Wife, Deborah was saying, “..what is going on,” during the process. She was panicky.

"Everybody's trying to rationalize and figure it out," said Pastor Jerry. "I know because the message was God will give you more time. So he just used me as an illustration as I will give you more time."

Next Sunday, you won’t hear Pastor Jackson preaching, he’ll be taking a break. So if you plan on visiting to see him preach, you might want to wait until the following Sunday.
