When I first viewed Tiger Woods' new commercial below on Wednesday evening, the views were in the hundreds.

Now, the day of his return to the Masters (Tiger Woods tees off at 1:42 Eastern Time) -- the below YouTube video is being promoted on YouTube -- and has landed in the top spot of the most-viewed videos on the site.

But the reactions to Woods' new commercial are mixed on Twitter:

"This new Tiger Woods Nike commercial is genius. Period.//thats EXACTLY what I said when I saw it!" writes one user.

"Nike's ultra-creepy Tiger Woods ad," another calls it.

"Call me crazy, but Tiger looking sad while his dead father asks what he learned does not make me want to buy new Nike clubs," quips a third.

"LOVE the new Tiger commercial.. Nike knows how to do em.. simple but brilliant.. it's his fathers voice if u didn't know," tweets somone else.

Harvey Araton pontificates: "We can't demand Tiger explain himself publicly and then kill him for making a commercial show of his remorse. The Nike commercial is fine."
