Let’s start with some youth tournaments.
This weekend, October 26 & 27th at Seminole Lanes, Gulf Coast USBC will be having their October Youth/Adult tournament. Shifts are at noon & 3 pm, both Saturday & Sunday. (open to Gulf Coast USBC Bowlers only) This is a walk in tournament. Entry fee is $30. If any kids need an adult to bowl with contact, myself through Facebook on Gulf Coast or at Seminole Lanes. I have adults that want to bowl. You can bowl one shift or all 4, as long as you always have a different adult. Entry forms are available on the website at www.gcusbc.org
We will be doing brackets for the kids, as Gulf Coast has done the past two youth tournaments. $5 to enter a bracket, and 100% goes back to the kids. So don't forget your extra money!!
They have a couple new things happening for the youth. Adults can get in brackets; however, if they win their bracket, their money goes to the youth they are bowling with to his/her SMART account. The other new thing is if a youth bowls a 300 or 800 series, they will receive $100 in their SMART account. If the adult bowls a 300 or 800 series, the youth they are bowling with will get $100 in their SMART account.
The Florida State USBC Youth have a few tournaments coming up. For the Pepsi Tournament, qualifying will be between November 2 – 8th, so good luck on your first chance to qualify for Pepsi.
