Your Workplace Guide On Valentine’s Day

♥ Don’t single out one person at work to give a gift or a card.

♥ Bringing in chocolates, a tin of sweets for everyone in the office to share is cool.

♥ Don’t assume everyone would get your joke or humor so stay away from sending an email or a Valentine’s Day card. You may end up in hot water!

♥ Feel free to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day at the office.

♥ Don’t offer hugs, kisses or touchy feely along with the holiday wish.

♥ As appropriate, as long as performance does not suffer, feel free to not hold late day or night meetings on Valentine’s Day. A little bit goes a long way.

In closing, trust your instincts, if the result of what you are about to do or considering doing would be difficult if not painful to describe to your kids or your Mother, it is probably not a good idea!
