MEET YOUR MATCH - The Denver Animal Shelter is hosting a "Meet Your Match" Valentine's Day event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 10. Adoption fees will be reduced to $85 for dogs, $50 for cats and $10 for small animals. The shelter is located at 1241 W. Bayaud Ave.
DOG SHOW - The 18th Annual Rocky Mountain Cluster Dog Show will be held Feb 15-18 at the National Western Complex in Denver. The event is hosted by the Colorado Kennel Club and Plum Creek Kennel Club It's the largest dog show in the country.
The event features 160 breeds and around 2,500 dogs are at the show each day. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for children under 12.
SPAY/NEUTER/SUPPORT - A local community foundation has presented Denkai Animal Sanctuary's Community Veterinary Clinic with a contribution that will be used to subsidize the cost of spay/neuter surgeries for owned animals. The cost per surgery will be $30 for dogs and cats and $15 for cats. This funding will provide aid to 500 animals.
