Your season just changed

Let your dreams unfold like a flower.

To everything there is a season. There is a time to sow and a time to reap.

To everything there is a season. There is a time to sow and a time to reap.

This morning, I got up before 7 A.M., opened the sliding door, and stepped in the backyard. The weather was a little chilly so I wrapped my sweater around me.

The birds were singing their usual happy tune, the moon was peaking at me, and the leaves seemed to be clapping.

I just wanted to spend time alone with my Creator and appreciate the natural things around me. And just as I was standing before the green grass and trees, I realized that small mangoes were hanging from the trees like Christmas ornaments.

I had been in the backyard for weeks but the mango trees only had blossoms. And just like that, they now have tiny mangoes on them. (One thing I must say is that months ago my older neighbor was the one who revealed the news to us about the blossoms. Why? Because I did not find time to go in the backyard.)

This is the word of the Lord to you and me. Even though you do not see any rain falling, and even though your eyes cannot see the fruits on the tree, God sees it all. He will even send someone to tell you the blossoms are there when your eyes cannot fathom what is happening.

Why is it so difficult to see the obvious sometimes? God has a plan for you and that plan involves blessings. Just be patient and know that your season has just changed.

The seeds you have planted are starting to bud and if you look closely, you will actually notice small fruits dangling from the trees of your dreams.

Here are some Scriptures for you to hide in your heart:

A time to uproot: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2).

No more lack: “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing” (Psalms 34:9-10).

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for everything you have done for me. Please forgive me of anything I have done. Lord, draw me closer to your presence and help me to hear your voice. Keep my eyes open like Hagar so I can see my blessings when you send them my way. I bind up the spirit of lack and fear right now in the name of Jesus. I have more than enough! Amen.
