You'll then discover how to change what you eat, including supplements as well as food. Incorporated: Exercise programs called "primal workouts" to boost your metabolism, which are based on full-body movements where you stand up, which the author says resemble those of our hunter-gatherer ancestors.
The diet consists of what our cavemen ancestors gobbled up: Animal protein, fats and non-starchy plant food. The result: What the author terms a naturally low-carbohydrate, high-protein and fat diet. She theorizes that when you eat this way, your body builds muscle, with a resulting boost in your metabolism and a decrease in your weight.
