As Boston Fashion Week approaches many students, professionals, and fashionistas alike are pondering the same question: “what am I going to wear to all the fashion shows?!” In addition to the fashion-packed schedule, September’s cool, crisp temperature has seemed to awaken the shoppers of the community. The streets of Beacon Hill have been packed with individuals updating their fall wardrobe and enjoying a release from the humidity of the summer months. What better way to enjoy the weather than to stroll through one of Boston’s most picturesque neighborhoods and find the perfect outfit for every Boston Fashion Week event.

As one of Charles Street’s staple boutiques, Holiday has held its ground for nearly 10 years. After opening in 2002, the store has created a serene shopping experience for its many fans and followers. Designed to feel like one is shopping out of their own closet, customers feel at home, free to try and be styled by Kate Botts or one of the stores associates without the pressure of some of the larger department stores. Owned by Jessika Pavlic, Holiday carries an assortment of brands including Geren Ford, Loeffler Randall, AKA New York, Leifsdottir, as well as their own private label. Items carrying the Holiday brand are made by the owner’s sister, Andrea Goranson. Andrea creates a perfect mix of femininely flirty dresses and separates which have been beloved additions to the boutique since 2004.

Walking into the store today, customers will find an eclectic mix of accessories along with dresses, coats, separates, and casual wear which are on the cutting edge of fashion but comfortable enough to live every day in. Some of the stores current highlights include a black long sleeved shift dress from AKA New York which features crystal detailing on the sleeve cuffs. An embellished shift is the perfect choice for any Boston Fashion Week event as it is a flattering silhouette on most body types. Effortlessly classic, the embellishments add just the right amount of sparkle to turn heads and be the envy of even the fashion show’s models!

Another dress sure to arouse the flash of the photographers' cameras is a magenta satin dress from Kirribilla. This sophisticatedly sexy meets flirty number features bow detailing on the back and shoulders.

Another perfect way to be Boston Fashion Week ready? An updated coat to compliment your perfect party dress. Two favorites from Holiday: A peplum coat chic enough to wear alone from Loeffler Randall as well as a black overcoat featuring pleated stripes and vintage inspiration buttons from Leifsdottir.

Check out Holiday at 53 Charles Street now to find your perfect party outfit for all of your Boston Fashion Week events!
