It is time to take control of our inner critic (ego) that streams negative chatter in our heads. It seems to dominate and mute positive thoughts of our Inner Voice. The ego is a terrified bully, masquerading as a devoted and caring friend, but contradicts itself as an inner critic, dictating regretful responses to people and circumstances.
Recognizing the ego is the first step to controlling our thoughts and lives, getting what we want out of life, and achieving emotional independence. Differentiating between our Inner Voice and inner critic is necessary in diffusing negative influences that prevent us from achieving goals, having ideal relationships, and seeing the Truth.
The persistent ego says that we are not good enough, pretty enough, thin enough, smart enough, tall enough, educated enough, rich enough, or some other negative belief to prove our alleged unworthiness of pleasant desires. However, it is only negative chatter, not truth. Our Inner Voice can change this conversation.
Knowledge of our powerful Inner Voice has been forgotten because the ego has convinced us that these negative beliefs are valid and applicable to who we are. We have merely forgotten that we are awesomely made. None of the inner critic's claims applies to us nor do they have any power as we pursue our goals and dreams.
Keep listening to the Inner Voice (intuition, gut feeling). Learn to recognize and trust its guidance. This gentle Voice is our navigator through the life we desire and our light on the road to our goals. The Voice takes into consideration all components of life's big picture from start to finish and all that is in between to assure a journey to success.
Our decisions are guided by our Inner Voice as we travel our life's road. With this wisdom, the ego voice is silenced at will and we are back in control of our lives. No longer can our emotions be controlled by an inner critic, others, or things.
