Denver Gives

The Denver Gives group was founded by young professionals from other states who had been a part of "young professional" groups in their respective cities, but did not find that same type of group here in Denver. The group's mission is to promote community giving and develop resources for small, local nonprofits. Their motto is “Party for a purpose. BE the difference!”

Among other fun events all year long, they hold a Third Thursday Happy Hour—which, this week, has a Halloween theme. Each event will expose young professionals to new contacts and the small nonprofits they support in the Denver area. If you haven’t been to one of their events yet, tonight’s promises to be a great introduction to the group.

When: Thursday, October 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Where: The DIVE INN, 1380 S. Broadway

What: networking, learning about area nonprofits, a free drink, food/drink specials all night, games, and prizes

Cost: $5; or FREE to Denver Gives members; register here
