A sweet young male Pitbull mix is in danger of being beaten by a neighborhood man if not rescued from the streets. He was dumped in the Third Ward of Houston about two weeks ago. Some neighbors, including the one who wants to beat him, want him gone and others are feeding him even though they are having their own hardships. He has a volunteer to cover his vet bills, he just needs a foster and rescue to get him to safety.
He is a young intact small pittie mix weighing approximately thirty to forty pounds. He is a friendly boy who gets along well with other animals and follows anyone who might take him in. Local advocates are frantically trying to find a place for him to go before he is hurt by the neighbor or picked up for unimaginable purposes by dog fighters.

UPDATE: He has been taken in by Casey Keller so he is safe just needs donations for vetting and an adopter. Casey stated, " I couldn't stand it and took him in, despite rescuing another off the streets last week that is HW positive that I don't even have the money to treat or vet. I'll be taking him to the vet Saturday. If anyone can help with his vet bill, I really need the help and would really appreciate it - please paypal to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm not a 501c3 but Estelle can vouch for me. You can also PM me for an address if you want to send a paper check. Again, thank you all for the concern. This munchkin will be safe and healthy in no time. Will post better pics of him happy and loved tonight Please continue to share for adopter and donations."
