Getting started in the job market is always tough. It takes time before people will really trust you.

Even though the economy has improved somewhat, many people are still struggling to find jobs. And this is especially true for younger people.

"I attend college and I work part-time. But need more hours so I can buy a car and save to move into an apartment. It is hard to more hours from my employer," said Anne Carvallo.

"I will spend my spring break looking for work. I know the process will be difficult but I think I will be ready for the challenge. I have a background in restaurant work," said Ben Price.

"Finding a job is never easy. But I am encouraged by the improvement in the job market and I am hoping to find work as a restaurant server. I am putting out applications now when I am not attending classes," said Janet Stouffer.
