Rapper Young Jeezy has found himself in trouble with the law again. According to CNN on Jan. 22, Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, was arrested again after turning himself in just three weeks ago after allegedly beating up and threatening to kill his son.
The arrest was confirmed by a Alpharetta, Georgia, police spokesman who acknowledged that when police responded to a security alarm at an Alpharetta townhouse, Jeezy was spotted walking out the back of the townhouse. When confronted, the 36-year-old rapper said it was his girlfriend’s home.
After refusing to provide identification, Jeezy began cursing at the officers and refused to provide his name, leading to an arrest.
The timing is not good for Young Jeezy as just three weeks ago his son reported that he beat him up and reported to the police that his father told him: “I’ll put a bullet in your head right now.”
The boy’s mother reported the incident after she saw evidence of the abuse. Jeezy was then arrested and later released on a $45,000 bond. He faces charges of battery, terroristic threats and false imprisonment.
With the recent arrest, there may be new charges brought against Young Jeezy.
