Young girl takes on Rafael Nadal and Ben Stiller in doubles match at BNP Paribas

It looks like Rafael Nadal might have met his match on the tennis court during the BNP Paribas exhibition match at Madison Square Garden in New York. According to Sports Illustrated on March 5, Nadal and Juan Martin del Potro were in the middle of the second set on Monday when they stopped to grab a couple of audience members to play a few points with them.

Actor Ben Stiller was pulled out by Nadal, while del Potro nabbed a sweet 9-year-old girl named Rebecca Suarez. This impressive young lady took the court by storm, hitting her shots and not only stole the show, but she stole hearts as well. She even laughed it off when Stiller told her that she was going down. In the end, both the actor and the pint-size girl grabbed a point, while del Potro won the last shot. The Argentine then picked Rebecca up and made a victory lap around the court before completing the rest of the match. All four players were laughing and shaking hands at the net.

This morning as Rebecca was being interviewed on “Good Morning, America,” she said that she has been playing tennis for eight years. Yes, that would make her a year old when she first had a tennis racket in her hand. When asked how it felt to be carried around by her partner, del Porto, she pointed out how sweaty she was after the match.

It looks like Rebecca Suarez may have a future tennis career ahead of her.
