Dynasty Miles, 23, was last seen around 9:15 p.m. Jan 1 outside the Benihana restaurant at Fairlane Town Center. She had gone to the restaurant to pick up a carry out order, said Myles step-mother Tara Payton.
Myles, who has a 6-year-old daughter, was observed getting into a silver vehicle believed to be a 2013 Dodge Durango.
“I just want to ask that anyone who knows anything to please call the police,” Payton said at a news conference organized by Dearborn Police and Crime Stoppers.
Myles aunt, Sherie Payton, who raised her, also asked for people to call police with any information on her whereabouts.
“Please call,” Sherie Payton said. “No matter how big, no matter how small, please call. Put it in their hearts, dear God. Please help us.”
Tara Payton said she last spoke to Myles about 9 p.m. New Year’s Day, when her step- daughter called to say she would be dropping clothes off for her daughter, Kyleigh, at the Payton home.
Sherie Payton said the girl is now asking for her mom.
“What do we tell a 6-year-old why her mother has been gone for 28 days?” said Sherie Payton.
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said investigators “will leave no stone unturned” trying to find Myles.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Myles.
