According to a TV Show Auditions report from Friday, a young, preteen Bruce Wayne will be appearing on the new Fox series Gotham.

The show, which will follow the exploits of a young Commissioner James Gordon as he navigates the dark, brooding streets of Gotham City, will apparently have the young billionaire as a series regular. According to the casting call, Gotham will be "set in the early days of James Gordon's police tenure, when he meets a boy named Bruce Wayne...". Although very few details are known at this time, the show looks to be exploring how Gordon deals with the villains in Gotham before the man known as Batman exists.

The series pilot begins filming in March, but as of yet there has been no casting announced.
