Sometimes when looking at the sky we can imagine or have in the past, what it’d be like to live underwater. If only we possessed the ability to float under seas or perhaps outside this planet; yet, here we are grounded in between by gravity. Sound pessimistic? Why is that?
Gravity gifts us an extraordinary ability that living things, that are not surrounded by it envy the very layer we live in and on, and know, and even love. Yes, things and situations can, and often times do weigh us down, but we defy gravity with our very action and commitment to living.
We intentionally refuse to stay down and how magnetically pulled we are towards each other because we can find comfort in one other. We’ve all long to detach from the force that fights against our desire to float. Men and women alike are no different in this sense. Often times when dating, it can seem as if the person across or next to you is not completely present with you.
Don’t let gravity bully you into thinking you are not worth being around because the truth is you battle staying down just as much as he or she does. See, everyone wonders what it would be like to be in a different place as silly as that sounds and more importantly, that’s our true common ground.
There is no need to belittle yourself or feel as if no one will ever understand you, or even believe that this person will save you from you. No, find comfort in knowing that you’re not alone and who knows the places that you’ll go if you’re open to, and accepting of our basic need to want more; just take time and see if their wants match up with yours.
