Director/Producer Marcus Flye and Flye Entertainment bring to life the animated cartoon 'You're a good man Charlie Brown' in the theater of Art Share LA featuring some of the most talented kids in Los Angeles.
Originally a popular cartoon created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz for his Peanuts comic strip, in 1967 it became a hit musical with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. This is a very popular choice for directors and producers because of its small cast all based on the popular comic strip.
Marcus Flye is a well known director and producer and says "This is a fundraiser for my non-profit "Drama In the Middle Inc" he went on to say "the kids have worked long and hard to bring out audience a terrific show that's sure to please the entire family."
"With the beginning of the school year is right around the corner we are raising funds to be able to operate in the school district this year and to be able to launch the program in both Elementary schools and High Schools" says Flye.
Drama in the Middle is a theater arts based non-profit dedicated to equipping students with a source of elements language, arts, math and science.Through dramatic expression students will learn how to be the leaders of tomorrow. The program hopes are to inspire creativity, create dreams and allow kids to believe in their imagination.
Marcus says "When kids are exposed to the arts they grow and become more independent" He went on to say that there is nothing more exciting than coming to work with excited and inspired kids."
