You Make the Card 4: Enchantment color voting begins

For the last step of You Make the Card 4, the Magic community was told that enchantment had beaten out land in the runoff poll for the card's type, and then not given another poll. The reason the organizers stated for this was that people needed time to deliberate on the card's color, which was to be the subject of the next poll, slated to start a little over a week later.

Now the April 2 poll start date for color has arrived, with amateur designers around the world hopefully having had time to familiarize themselves with the color pie to the highest degree possible. Of course, every color has its supporters, because most Magic players have a favorite color, and a substantial number of those participating in this event probably want to make a card in that color that would be very playable, purely out of self-interest.

Unofficially, the two colors that are leading on the MTGSalvation.com rumor mill interest poll are black and red; unsurprisingly, since these would represent a new direction for You Make the Card and especially since red is widely considered to have the least amount of color pie space available to it.

The poll for color will be open for 48 hours, and we will know which has won out on April 4. Mark Rosewater has confirmed that the card will definitely be monocolor this time, so there is no possibility of yet another runoff for a second or third color. However, if there is a statistical tie yet again, it will have to be broken with a second vote on color.
