You Make the Card 4: Black selected as the color

We know that the card that results from You Make the Card 4 will be an enchantment, and the official vote on its color ended at midnight as April 4 became April 5 on the East Coast of the United States. But those vote results haven't been posted on the mothership yet - we won't know the official score until Monday. But veteran MTGSalvation.com poster and rumormonger fnord seems to know the answer - according to this Rumor Mill thread, an unnamed source at Wizards of the Coast has counted the votes and they have come up in favor of black.

That this was the people's choice for color is unsurprising; every color except for black and red has been represented among past YMTC cards, and even an artifact was created during the second YMTC. Variety is, of course, the spice of life and of Magic design, and the idea of a black enchantment appeals to a lot of player types - hardcore tournament players, of course, remember Necropotence and its broken descendants fondly, and a lot of Timmy/Johnny-type players are probably thinking of the infamous Death Pit Offering.

The official results are apparently to be posted Monday; once that date rolls around, we will be able to confirm or deny fnord's source (though this information is probably extremely reliable) and the next poll is apparently to be whether the card is an Aura or non-Aura (global) enchantment.
