If you are planning to visit Bolsa Chica State Beach, Crystal Cove State Beach, or Huntington State Beach in Orange County over Fourth of July Weekend, make sure you bring enough cash. According to the Los Angeles Times, beachgoers will have to pay $20 to park at these beaches, a new holiday rate that was approved by the California State Parks Department. The new rate is five dollars higher than the parking fee at these beaches during other summer weekends. The fee increase is designed to generate new revenue for the California State Parks, but is the new price high enough to stop you from going to the beach? Happy Fourth of July!
