You'll 'Love' the Beatles on your iPhone, iPad with brand new app (pictures)

If you have an iPhone or an iPad, there's a new free app you'll want to get in the Apple app store. It's for the Beatles "Love" album and it went online today, the same day the album went on sale in iTunes. (See the slideshow for screen shots of the app.) It's the first official Beatles iPhone app. It's also compatible with the iPod Touch and iPad and requires iOS 3.1.2 or later.

The app features excerpts from all the songs on the album (though not the bonus tracks "Girl" and "Fool on the Hill") and links to buy them individually.

It also features the videos of the making of the "Love" album, a clip from the "Tomorrow Never Knows"/"Within You Wthout You" video, plus several excerpts from the "All Together Now" documentary that will also be available on iTunes next week in both regular and HD versions.

Also in the app are photos from the documentary of the show in development and scenes of the show, a news section, a fan wall and Mirage ticket links.

There's not a whole lot of information that most fans won't already know, but, hey, it's free. The app is available here or here.
