You know you're getting old when this lady is on the cover of AARP magazine

The cover of the latest AARP Magazine. Yeah, we couldn't believe it either.

Is that really Valerie Bertinelli on the cover of AARP Magazine that just arrived in our mailbox? Yes it is. She's a month away from turning 50. Yeah, we're all thinking "I saw her when she was so young on 'One Day at a Time.'" (See a clip of the show below.)

As the article explains, she's starting a new TV series in the fall and about to get married again. Not to mention her gig with Jenny Craig that still goes on. She's also become a disciple of reconciliation and acceptance and made peace her former husband, Eddie Van Halen.

Valerie Bertinelli has indeed grown up. Great for her. A rude awakening for the rest of us who'll never forget the "One Day at a Time" look.

I had a crush on her when I watched One Day At A time and she is just as wonderful looking at almost 50. Eddie screwed up losing her.

She looks so young, fairly close to how she looks in the video clip! Reservatol? Fish capsules? Maybe it's genes! The only conclusion I can make is that turning 50 isn't that old for some in the looks department!
