Almost 37 years after his death, legendary performer Elvis Presley still has millions of fans around the world. If you are one of those Elvis enthusiasts, you won't want to miss the largest tribute in North America that honors "The King" -- the 15th annual ElvisFest taking place in Ypsilanti, Michigan on Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12. Ypsilanti is approximately a 2 hour, 40 minute drive from Cleveland.

ElvisFest Being held at Riverside Park (on the banks of the Huron River) in Ypsilanti, ElvisFest features numerous professional and award-winning Elvis tribute artists from all over North America (including one from Hawaii) paying homage to The King at this 2-day concert event. One of the newest groups and spotlighted groups will be the Change of Habit Tribute Band from Chicago.

Friday's concerts will run from 5 p.m. until midnight and Saturday's concerts will take place from noon - midnight. Check out the special Gospel Hour featuring many of Elvis' grammy-winning gospel songs on Saturday from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

ElvisFest will also feature performances by other artist tribute performers showcasing the music of Elton John and Patsy Cline.

There will also be lots of activities for the kids including bounce house blow-ups, face painting and the Twist and Shout Show featuring balloon making and a magic show.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy a Classic Car Show on Saturday (You know how much Elvis loved cars!) and a special candlelight vigil on Saturday evening commemorating the anniversary of Elvis' death.

Of course, there will be lots and lots of Elvis memorabilia and festival gear available for purchase. Visitors are encouraged to dress up like Elvis or to wear outfits from the '50's and '60's (maybe a poodle skirt?). And never fear, there will be plenty of cold beer, drinks and delectable food for sale.

Hours for ElvisFest are 4 p.m. - midnight on Friday, July 11 and noon-midnight on Saturday, July 12. Admission is $15 per person at the gate on Friday and $25 per person at the gate on Saturday.
