Starting with a little book by Stuart Wilde called Miracles, let's take a look at our internal mental structures and see if we can rearrange some of them to combat anxiety and depression and enhance self-expression, creativity, and joy in living.
Stuart Wilde, a very prolific, great writer and psychic, who unfortunately passed a year or so ago, was all about rearranging internal structures, being aware of all our senses, including the 6th sense, to create a happier, better-educated, more productive you, about becoming familiar with and a living part of "The God-Force."
Where religion and psychology don't tell the whole story that we need to learn: ". . . no real understanding of the Universal Law has ever been incorporated into the various belief patterns of the world's collective unconscious." (Miracles, p. 9)
". . . a discipline of power . . . once you decide on the side of strength, the power of the Universal Law will always be with you to varying degrees." (p. 11)
Challenging our traditional beliefs: It is the established belief system, a product of the world's collective unconscious, that holds you back. (e.g., You can only run so fast and no faster, or it is impossible to reach the moon.)
"Everything around you is energy . . . By opening to the power of the Universal Law and controlling the mind through centering and discipline, you become aware of the subtlety of energies around you. You will find that you can use your feelings to guide you through life." (pp. 16-17)
Stuart Wilde, in his many inspirational tapes, often refers to The Tao. Universal Law is kind of like The Tao (called by devotees THE WAY), indescribable yet very much reachable, if not understandable, on this earth plane. Universal Law leads you to your feelings, to that awesome point where you say, "Aha, that's it!" U.L. guides everything that happens in our lives, whether we are conscious of it or not, so we may as well start noticing what's going on!
"To create something with absolute certainty, you have to establish the feeling within you that it has already happened -- that the condition you desire is already a part of your life." (p. 20)
"The Universal Law, or Living Spirit, is unlimited. This force is within you. Therefore, what you are is also unlimited." (p. 25)
You can pull to yourself the right resources, only by establishing goals and visualizing; then while visualizing, working towards your goal, watching things line up to help you.
"It is important to avoid fretting. Center on the feeling that some way, somehow, the Universal Law will not let you down . . . " (p. 35)
"Believe in it. Know that this inner force is so powerful that it will pull you into excitement and adventure beyond your dreams. Keep it pure, remain silent, and remember to keep your methods secret." (p. 37) [You don't want to dissipate the energy.]
Two things that will help you in your quest for miracles: "Abstain from such energy-lowering substances as alcohol and drugs. . . Eat lightly [and] stay away from junk food." (p. 41) The Spirit works its magic when the mind is free.
Fight against logic and limitations the mind will always try to impose. You may use some affirmations, such as these, to train the mind: "THIS DAY IS A DAY OF BALANCE. I AM COMPLETELY AWARE OF MY BODY AND ALL ITS NEEDS . . . WHAT I AM IS ETERNAL, IMMORTAL, UNIVERSAL AND INFINITE. I SEE ONLY BEAUTY AND STRENGTH EVERY MOMENT OF MY LIFE . . . EACH ACTION I TAKE THIS DAY IS AN EXPRESSION OF THE GOD-FORCE. THEREFORE, EACH ACTION I TAKE IS A PART OF MY INFINITE CREATIVITY." (p. 49)
"Your position on the earth plane as a miracle-maker is inherent in the infinite power that lies within you." (p. 52) All that you have to do is draw that infinitely powerful energy out.
