Winterrific This family-oriented event spotlights some of the best activities that the Cleveland area winter season has to offer. Among some of those activities are, dog sled demonstrations (at noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.), horse-drawn wagon rides (from noon- 4:30 p.m.), Winter "How to Dress" demonstrations (12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.), fishing demonstrations (1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. with free shuttle service provided to Bonnie Park) and Snow Bike demonstrations provided by Century Cycles (1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.).

Visitors will be able to purchase food and refreshments inside the Chalet where you can also enjoy a cozy fire to warm up. The Earthworks Nature Shop will be open for merchandise purchases.
The Chalet Recreation Area's big attraction, of course, is the two refrigerated toboggan ice chutes, the only public ice chutes in Ohio. Don't miss your chance to whoosh down the chutes at 45 MPH. New this year is a toboggan lift. So there will be no more carrying your toboggans up all those stairs. The daily admission fee for the toboggan chutes is $10 for adults and $8 for children (11 and under).
The toboggan chutes will be open from now through mid-March, 2013.
