YOU are invited to Sanrio's Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary Three Apples Celebration

Clear your calendars this weekend because we are partying with Hello Kitty herself!

This Friday marks the opening of Sanrio's Three Apples Exhibit, the first and only official Hello Kitty event ever for North America!  In honor of Hello Kitty's 35th anniversary/birthday, Sanrio is hosting a "multi-dimensional exhibition and celebration of all things Hello Kitty"!  This one-of-a-kind celebration goes on for three weeks (October 23 - November 15), and will be held at Royal/T in Culver City. 

Here's an over view of what to expect THIS weekend!  The main events are happening on Saturday, so definitely clear out your Saturday schedule.  The party starts at 10am and ends at 10pm.

Friday: Doors open at 10am!  Be the first to experience the Three Apples celebration!

Saturday: This Saturday is Super Fan Day!  This is THE day to attend the exhibit!  If you are a Hello Kitty/Sanrio/Japan/cute things fan or foodie/alcoholic/dancer/partier/fashionista or just like to have fun, you NEED to be at Three Apples on Saturday!  There is something for everyone.  Check out the line-up:

10AM -1PM
Hello Kitty Brunch! Bring your favorite friends to a fabulous Hello Kitty brunch at Royal/T where you can enjoy scrumptious Hello Kitty-themed waffles & pancakes and a live DJ set.

1 PM -2PM and 3PM -4PM
Meet the Designers! A very special appearance by ‘Kitty Mama’ Yuko Yamaguchi (Hello Kitty head designer straight from Tokyo) & tokidoki creator, Simone Legno — and the launch of the exclusive tokidoki for Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary collection — follows.

This is the event I am most excited for.  My heroes!!!

2PM -3PM
Hands-on Jewelry Workshop with Three Apples artist Natalia Fabia.   All workshops charge a $15 materials fee and require pre-registration here.

4PM – 5PM
Yummy Hello Kitty sushi & bento box workshop with acclaimed chef Sushi Girl.  All workshops charge a $15 materials fee and require pre-registration here.

5PM -7PM
Hello Kitty Happy Hour for older fans hosted at Royal/T Cafe.  Dress to impress and mingle with other Sanrio aficionados while enjoying unique Hello Kitty inspired cocktails!  I wonder what they've come up with?!

7PM – 10PM
Bring your dancing shoes (and possibly some earplugs) because we are ending the night with a Hello Kitty-Oke karaoke dance party with Karaoke Queen Raina Lee (author of Hit Me with Your Best Shot: A Guide To Karaoke Domination) and Hello Kitty-oke Dance Party!

And Hello Kitty herself will be available to meet fans and take photos all day! 

Admission to the exhibit is always free!
