Yonder Mountain String Band comes back to Cincinnati

Yonder Mountain String Band is making the rounds for their winter tour and they are almost to the Ohio leg. The band will be performing in Cincinnati and Columbus on January 31, and February 1, respectively. The show for the Greater Cincinnati area will me at the Madison Theater in Covington, Kentucky.

The concert traditionally draws fans from many surrounding cities who follow the band on the tour Grateful Dead style. Last year the show sold out and many fans were left partying in the street outside the Madison.

The band will be featuring some new music on this tour that will be on an album to be released later in the year. Their music blends traditional bluegrass with elements of reggae, rock and country to come up with a sound that is truly unique and Billboard called a "powerfully varied instrumental experience."

The show at the Madison will begin at 8:30 p.m., and doors will open at 7:30. Tickets are $25.00 and it is an all ages show. You can get tickets and other information by visiting the Madison Theater website.
