Yolanda Foster of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is celebrating her birthday this weekend, despite having Lyme disease. Foster tweeted on Jan. 12 that she contracted Lyme disease after being bitten by a tick.
Yolanda spent the day tweeting about her health, as well as giving thanks in response to happy birthday wishes. “RHOBH” cast mate, Brandi Glanville, tweeted Foster a birthday greeting, as did dozens of fans of the show.
Foster said she isn’t going to let her illness get her down. Yolanda said kicking Lyme disease to the curb is high on her list of priorities so she can get back to work. Foster added that she has a lot she wants to accomplish before she turns 50.
Yolanda said today was a good day for her and she was feeling a bit stronger. A friend took her for a pedicure. Foster said she hadn’t had one in four months.
