Yolanda Foster is Brandi Glanville's go-to girl on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The two immediately hit it off when Yolanda joined the show during season 3 and ever since, they have been close. However, after seeing Brandi's actions on Monday's new episode, Yolanda admitted that she was a bit shocked and disappointed in her friend.
Still, she's sticking by her and some are wondering why such a classy woman who tie herself to someone who seems to be the exact opposite. Earlier this week, Yolanda explained just that.
"I broke my back giving birth to my son Anwar, lost my husband to infidelities, and battled severe depression all at the same time in 1999, so I know what it is like to be broken and down in a deep, dark hole while trying to keep it together to be a mother and raise children," Yolanda explained in her Bravo blog, via a December 11 Radar Online report. "Life did not give me that experience to now look down on Brandi and judge her for falling in a hole that I was once in."
For Yolanda, it is Brandi's past that is causing her to act out in a way that is so self destructive, and since she also went through a cheating scandal years ago, she has a place in her heart for Brandi.
That being said, Yolanda never went to such a dark and detrimental place after her marriage to Mohammed crumbled as a result of infidelities.
"Did I behave like her? NO, I didn’t because I choose (sic) to live an isolated life with my three children until I weathered the storm," Yolanda continued. "I was a financially independent woman before I got married to Mohamed, so I had the power and freedom to pick up my children and move away from my life in Beverly Hills to the quiet, little town of Montecito."
Hopefully, having Yolanda's positivity in her life will help Brandi learn to act in a more motherly manner, since she is a mother of two. If not, she's going to have some explaining to do once her children are grown, and that's not going to be a fun conversation.
