On the Yolanda Adams Morning Show, she has a segment titled "Say what you want to say." Wednesday's question was, “Are you for or against dating someone where you work?"
Today's question on the popular contemporary gospel radio show provoked several callers to call in with their responses. Almost 100% of the callers agreed that it is okay to date someone on the job, with certain stipulations.
All of the responders were women. Most of the responses were "If God is in it, then it is okay to date someone where you work.”
Callers said that it is important that you are prayerful, and that you seek God about dating on your job. Three of the callers had met their mate on their job. One of the callers said that her spouse was a teacher, he was a P.E. teacher at the place where she works. Another caller had been married for 20 years to her spouse whom she had met on her job. Another caller who had been married for 10 years said that she worked in the same department as her spouse before they married.
To follow up with what callers said, Co-Host, Marcus D. Wiley said that, "It really doesn't matter where you find your date"...love can be found anywhere. He admonished the audience to rid themselves of the thoughts – no dating at church, no dating someone on the job, no dating someone from a certain state...
What is your take on this matter?
