Lululemon’s popular black yoga pants have been recalled. The product has been taken from store shelves because the company believes the pants are too sheer, or revealing, The Washington Post reported on Mar. 19.
According to the report, the yoga pants recall will leave sellers with a short supply of Lululemon black yoga pants. However, the company says it’s looking out for its loyal customers by pulling the product.
According to Sam Poser of Agee & Leach, there appears to be a “major quality control problem” in Asia where the “Luon” yoga pants are made.
The company has used the same factories to make their black yoga pants since 2004. However, Poser claims the company doesn’t have the proper oversight in place.
So, for now, fans of Lululemon black yoga pants will have to wait until after the recall to buy more of the product.
What are your thoughts on the yoga pants recall? Are you a fan of Lululemon gear?
