Following on the footsteps of the Vegas Gone Yoga! Festival, an event that brought together community from all over the Las Vegas Valley, the Yoga Gangsters Challenge will be doing the same on Saturday, Sept. 28. at the David Barton Gym in Tivoli Village, 1 – 4 p.m.
The “challenge” is to come together to do 108 sun salutations in order to raise money for kids in crisis.
“Take on the physical challenge of completing 108 Sun Salutations, while joining the national community to take on the challenge of raising $120,000 to continue to bring empowering yoga programs to kids in crisis across the nation. 100% of all funds raised will go to Yoga Gangsters a US 501c(3) tax deductible non profit organization,” states the Yoga Gangster website.
The following Las Vegas yoga studios are involved in the Challenge: All About Yoga, Barefoot Sanctuary, Bikram Yoga Green Valley, The Grateful Yogi, Little Zen Wellness, Sin City Yoga, Summerlin Yoga, Trufusion Yoga, and Vegas Hot! Yoga & Pilates.
The event isn’t exclusive to twisty bendy yogis. Two non-yoga-studio teams will join in on the fun: David Barton Gym In Tivoli Village and Joyce Sgro Sportsman's team "For My Ohmies.”
