Yoga at the Pier happens every Monday night

Join Beach Cities Health District for a free fitness series, Yoga at the Pier, every Monday evening from April 21 to May 19.

The weekly event will take place south of the Manhattan Beach Pier at the Strand. Get moving and de-stress with this free, public event that brings together the community, fitness and fun!

Everyone is welcome to participate — women, men and children — and you can participate at your own pace. By all means, invite friends, family and co-workers! Registration starts at 6 p.m. with the hour long yoga class beginning at 6:30. All participants must sign a waiver.

It’s all brought to you by Beach Cities Health District, Blue Zones Project, Center for Health & Fitness and AdventurePlex to promote health and physical activity in the community.

Attendees should bring their own yoga mat. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, athletic clothing and bring a jacket in case of cool weather.Classes will be led by certified instructors from the Center for Health & Fitness and AdventurePlex.
