Yo Gotti and CMG cover 'The Hype Magazine' summer issue #85 in stores June 26

The Hype Magazine revealed their summer issue cover today June 14, which features CMGs founder and leader, rapper Yo Gottie along with his full roster, Snootie Wild, Zed Zilla and Wave Chapelle. Gotti recently inked a multi-million dollar joint venture with Epic Records.

Gotti spoke with The Hype Magazine concerning his new partnership with Epic Records, his goal for Memphis music and the first project from the label, a collaboration of all the members of CMG as well as Atlanta rapper K Camp.

The Hype Magazine also spoke with each of the CMG signees, who all spoke about how they got the message that Gotti was interested in them and their music. Each expounded on the tight-nit unit and how they relate to their label mates.

Besides this exclusive with the major breaking brand CMG, 2014 saw The Hype Magazine and its publisher Jameelah Wilkerson, an Indiana native and current resident, honored by the Atlanta City Council for her achievements and leadership of The Hype Magazine and its brand. The also honored her as a female business owner, heading a successful major business enterprise. The Hype Magazine was further honored with "Magazine of the Year" nominations from both the Southern Entertainment Awards, and the South Carolina Music Awards. Editor-in-Chief Jerry Doby, was nominated for "Photographer/journalist of the Year."
