Yngwie Malmsteen to release new album

Coming soon:  Relentless - the aptly-titled forthcoming release by guitar-god Yngwie Malmsteen.

In 2008 Malmsteen released Perpetual Flame - the first release on his own Rising Force Records label, and the first featuring vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens

On Relentless, Ripper and Malmsteen are reunited for over 60-minutes of high-octane, killer metal tunes.

Confirmed song titles for Relentless thus far include "Relentless," "Look At You Now," "Shot Across the Bow," "Adagio B Minor Variation," "Caged Animal," "Critical Mass," "Into Valhalla," "Enemy Within," and "Caprici Di Inferno."

Stay tuned to learn when Relentless will be avaiable in stores - and when Malmsteen will be returning to the Chicago-area for another live show.

I haven't been very impressed with his more recent albums. All you need is the early albums and that is good enough.

I disagree. Perpetual Flame showed a lot of the fire and creativity that he had in the old days - and Angels in Love was different, but it shows what great range he has a a writer and performer. Looking forward to more new stuff.
