YMCA summer camp kick-off March 9th

The calendar shows that it is only February, but it is almost summer at the Southwest Illinois YMCAs. Well at least it is almost time to register for summer day camp at the YMCA. In additon to traditional day camp, the YMCA offers sports and speciality camps. A future dancer in your house? The YMCA has a camp for that. The next David Blaine? The YMCA has a camp for that. Soccer star, swimmer, fashion designer? You guessed it, the YMCA has a camp for all those too. On March 9th, families will have the opportunity to sign up for a summer full of fun. Registration begins that day and signing up first ensures that you'll get the spots and the times that you want most. To top it all off, families registering during Day Camp Kickoff don't have to pay the $40 summer camp registration fee.That can add up to a lot of cabbage. Good thing too, because summer is on the brain, but snow is on the ground. Spring gardens will have to wait.
