YMCA of Easton is holding a free kindergarten readiness workshop for parents

The YMCA of Easton childcare centers will be sponsoring a “Kindergarten Readiness Workshop” for parents in the Easton School District. The workshop is open to the community and will be held on the main campus of the YMCA.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 6:30-8:30 pm. The speakers will include Denise Continenza from Penn State Co-op Extension and Anita Hunt from the Easton School District's Family Connection program. They will be discussing ways that parents can help prepare their child for the transition into kindergarten, as well as what to expect from the Easton School District once they are registered.

The workshop is free and childcare is provided, however space is limited so advance registration is required.
