Yes, there's snow in the Rockies; airfare sale ends Monday night

With the absence of a real winter in Minnesota, it appears that skiers will have to head elsewhere for fun in the snow this year. Frontier Airlines is making that easy for you with a great airfare sale from Minneapolis/St. Paul to three of the most popular ski areas in the U.S. However, if you want to take advantage of these special fares, you'll have to move quickly.

Valid for travel through April 15, 2012 and requiring a three-day advance purchase prior to departure, Frontier's special offer includes one-way fares to Durango starting at just $151, to Steamboat Springs from $161, and to Aspen for as little as $170. The discount carrier has no round-trip purchase requirement. Flights depart from Terminal 1/Lindbergh at MSP with simple connections at its Denver hub.

With half of the winter ski season still available to enjoy, now is the perfect time to make your plans to hit the slopes. The only blackout dates with this promotion are March 30, 31, April 1 and 6. Airfares quoted above include passenger facility charges, federal segment taxes and security fees.
