Fall is right around the corner and with only a short time left of summer, it's time to spruce of your wardrobe and find the picks that you can not live without for the upcoming season. Even if you aren't into grunge or feel comfortable in camouflage, you can still add a little military style to your wardrobe with a few key picks.

Military Style 101:

-You don't have to look completely prepared for combat or wear a helmet of any sort to pull off this look

-It's best to pick a piece that "pulls the look together" rather than trying to go full fledged army

-PIck pieces that are comfortable to you and that you can wear with numerous options, so that you don't feel like you've wasted your money on the piece you buy

-Add fun accessories to your look to keep it girly

-You don't have to shop couture to get this look, thrift stores and stores with military swag may have just the piece you're looking for at  a much lower price

How to jump in?

Olive green is a color that brings out the best in anyone's skin tone, so don't be afraid to wear it. This look can be possible with an olive green jacket or hat. Wearing jeans, skinny black pants, or a leather skirt will add depth to the look. Be sure to try out different things in this style because if one thing doesn't work, another will :).

Lace up boots are hot for fall, so feel free to click your heels together and jump aboard. You can mix and match this look so feel free to wear heels too.

Regardless of what you choose, you're sure not to lose!
