Yord Inc., a leader in psychology-based mobile applications, announced today the free availability of MyEmotions: Tune Into Your Feelings, a mobile app that interprets people’s emotions with 90% accuracy* and provides remarkable insight into the state of one’s subconscious. MyEmotions puts a new spin on proven psychological techniques to tap into the user’s psyche and translate what it is their moods are trying to tell them, helping users get in better touch with their emotions. After debuting earlier this month and ranking in the Top 10 among Paid Entertainment Apps, MyEmotions is now available for free for all iPhone®, iPod touch® and iPad® devices.
“We built MyEmotions to help people gain deeper insight into the true meaning behind their emotions,” said Dmitry Butalov, CEO of Yord Inc. “Whether you want to make better decisions, forge stronger relationships, understand yourself better, or improve your foresight, MyEmotions is an easy, fun and lighthearted—yet extremely powerful and meaningful—way to interpret your emotional state at your fingertips.”
MyEmotions can determine a person’s mood from among 62 different emotional states by running the user through a two-minute series of tests based on techniques developed by famous psychologists such as Max Lüscher and many others. The app then applies Yord’s proprietary interpretation engine, developed by trained psychologists and PhDs, to analyze the user’s emotions and offer a detailed description of what they mean and how they might apply to their current situation. The results delivers a two-minute test based on body localization, color preferences, and semantic differences to help determine your emotional state, catalogue of 62 distinct emotional states, ranging from joy and ecstasy to annoyance and rage, with every nuance in between, clear-cut descriptions of what each emotion means for your present state of mind and the adaptive purpose behind it, social networking tools to enable you to share your mood and analysis with friends via email, Facebook, and Twitter and the ability to upload an emotion’s Steampunk-style avatar to your phone’s contact list.
MyEmotions also offers premium features that can be accessed for $2.99 in-app and include an expanded library of 310 possible interpretations of one’s emotions, an intensity rating to gauge the strength of each emotion, and access to one’s full results history. The premium version also includes special tests to help strengthen areas of the user’s life such as relationships, foresight, self perception, and choices.
MyEmotions can be downloaded for free from the App Store at. The app is available in English, French and Russian, and is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and 4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch and iPad devices. It requires iOS 4.3 or later.
